It's a vicious cycle! Like the cannibalistic beast that devours its young. American student loans do much the same. The beast gives its young life, just as the loans give the students a chance to attend school. But what use is that chance to get a better job to help yourself and the economy when the very thing that gave you the chance to achieve that, ends up becoming one of the main reasons that you can't achieve those goals?
